The Comedy Series Brassic Calls it a Day with Influenced by Tarantino Last Episode

The creators Joseph Gilgun and Danny Brocklehurst are bringing the curtain down on their comedy series about a close-knit group of endearing rogues causing chaos in a rural Lancashire town. You might expect the last episode to be a greatest hits victory lap of alcohol, substances, and playful theft. However, the atmosphere turns much more somber as the character Vinnie, played by Gilgun and the gang hole up in a pub with gangster Davey MacDonagh for a final 50th installment seemingly influenced by Quentin Tarantino.

The Show Dragons' Den

8pm on BBC One
Ballet dancers leap into the den this week, as mothers Laura and Stacey pitch their range of adaptive dance attire – and cause Peter Jones to become flustered. Next, an ophthalmologist turned innovator has a smart device for lost tape ends.

All Creatures Great and Small

9pm, Channel 5
The animal-related escapades are generally good, but this superior period drama proves its worth with emotional character development. A particularly affecting episode weaves the stories of a injured draft horse and a missing young cow into a more serious storyline centring on the character Tristan, whose behaviour prompts a brotherly confrontation.

The Drama The Hack

9pm on ITV1
The journey has been lengthy. Yet the penultimate episode of this at first slow-moving but eventually gripping phone-hacking drama sees David Tennant’s Nick uncovering information about the actions of the News of the World that the rest of the media simply are forced to acknowledge. Things are also looking up for the character Dave, who has a unexpected new supporter.

RuPaul's Drag Race UK

9pm on BBC Three
Prepare for enthusiastic gestures: it’s time to present Peter Pansy – The Musical! That means the pressure is on for the drag performers to perform vocally, dance, and act and ultimately slay as they prepare for the production. And who better to guest judge than West End stage legend Mazz Murray, alongside the panel including Graham Norton, Michelle Visage, and RuPaul.

The Iris Affair

9pm, Sky Atlantic
Anyone afraid of insects will want to skip ahead as the sixth episode starts, before a tense standoff, reminiscent of a Mexican or Sardinian scenario occurs, when Cameron forces Iris to swap her diary for the captured Joy – else she’ll be “shot repeatedly” from the threatening drone controlled by Meski … What escape plan can they devise?
